Thank You for supporting WLASLO at this year's AHA Heart Walk! We reached our fundraising goal and had a great time supporting the cause in our community.

As many of you know, the Women Lawyers Association has participated in the American Heart Association Heart Walk for several years under the enthusiastic leadership of Team Captain, Linda Hurst. While Linda’s recent judicial appointment means a tremendous gain to our local bench and bar, it leaves WLA at a loss for a Team Captain.

The Board supports WLA’s continued involvement with Heart Walk and would like to extend the opportunity to lead WLA’s team to the full membership. Please contact Christine Dietrick or email wlaslo[at]gmail.com for more information.

As you are likely aware, this event raises money for the American Heart Association. This year the event included a 5K walk and took place on October 3, 2009. If you would like to participate on the WLA team next year, please contact us at wlaslo [at] gmail.com. We would love to have you join us.
