OUR SPEAKERS:
DEVIN MIKULKA
Devin Mikulka joined Carmel & Naccasha after working as an associate in the Los Angeles office of Lewis Brisbois as a member of the Labor & Employment Practice. Prior to her work in Los Angeles, Devin worked at a boutique employment law firm specializing in single plaintiff discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour matters. She also worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California in San Diego. Prior to law school, Devin worked for the U.S. Department of Justice on the international extradition of criminal fugitives.
Her practice focuses on defending employers against a variety of employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour and PAGA actions. Devin represents clients in both state and federal court, as well as in arbitration.
Devin earned her bachelor’s degree in foreign affairs and Spanish from the University of Virginia and later attended law school at UC Davis where she graduated in 2015. Devin recently moved to the Central Coast and is one of the newest members of the Carmel & Naccasha team.
ERIN BRANDT
Erin N. Brandt is an associate attorney with Frederickson Hamilton, LLP in San Luis Obispo, CA. She was born and raised in Cambria, California. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and sociology from University of San Diego. Erin then attended California Western School of Law. Erin spent the first part of her career in San Diego, California practicing civil litigation focused on insurance and public entity defense. In July of 2020, Erin returned home to San Luis Obispo County to continue her legal career, expanding her practice to include personal injury and premise liability matters, real estate, landlord-tenant and employment disputes.
LISA HAMON
Lisa R. Hamon is an associate attorney with the firm Glick Haupt Marino LLP. She practices in the areas of business law, estate planning, civil litigation, and real estate. Lisa’s transactional experience includes business entity formation, drafting wills and trust agreements, representing clients in the sale, purchase, transfer, and leasing of real property, and contract negotiation and drafting. Lisa also has experience drafting easements, covenants, conditions & restrictions, and other documents related to HOA’s and common interest developments.
In the litigation context, Lisa represents clients in business and real estate disputes, including breach of contract claims, quiet title actions, surety claims and other construction-related disputes, and landlord/tenant matters.
Lisa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of California at Davis. She received her J.D., with Great Distinction, from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she was inducted into the Traynor Honor Society. While at McGeorge, she externed for Chief Justice Morrison C. England, Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California and participated as a student associate of the Anthony M. Kennedy American Inn of Court. Lisa also served as a student attorney at the school’s Community Legal Services Bankruptcy Clinic, providing pro bono bankruptcy services to the underrepresented population of Sacramento.

$15.00 per attendee, regardless of whether or not you are a WLA member. All proceeds will go toward the WLA scholarship fund and the other worthy events hosted by the WLA.
