2019 Ethics Update
December MCLE: This program will examine a selection of recent ethics opinions issued by the State Bar of California Committee on Professional Responsibility and discuss important takeaways for your legal practice.
The Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo County is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1.0) hour of Legal Ethics MCLE participatory credit.
MEGAN CROSBIE
Ms. Crosbie is an associate attorney at McCormick Barstow’s SLO office. She focuses her practice on business and real estate litigation, and trust and estate litigation. Prior to joining McCormick, she worked for Miles Sears & Eanni, a longstanding plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Fresno. Megan is a Cal Poly alum. She is excited to be back on the Central Coast and is looking forward to getting more involved in the SLO legal community.
ERIN DeNATALE
Ms. DeNatale is a research attorney for the San Luis Obispo Superior Court. Prior to joining the court in 2018, Erin worked at Andrews · Lagasse · Branch & Bell LLP for six years, focusing on employment defense. Erin also completed a federal clerkship in Monroe, Louisiana in 2011
NICOLE NORRIS
Ms. Norris is General Counsel for Live Eyewear, Inc., focusing her practice on managing and litigating Live Eyewear’s portfolio of patents, trademarks, and copyrights. Ms. Norris also runs a small solo practice where she brings her general counsel skills to small businesses and individuals in SLO. Prior to coming to SLO six years ago, Ms. Norris litigated Intellectual Property cases in the San Francisco Bay Area.
