Diversity, Equity and Inclusion – Getting the Work Done
February MCLE: For nonprofit organizations, diversity, equity, and inclusion are hot topics. Making the structural changes that nonprofits need to counter systemic racism can mean everything from revising bylaws to making changes to meeting structure.
Our speaker is Naomi Dewey, who is president of California Women Lawyers, one of the country’s biggest statewide bar organizations for women. Hear about the changes CWL is making through their own efforts to increase diversity, and review tips for how you can make your own organizations more diverse and turn words into action in the fight against structural inequality.
The Women Lawyers Association of San Luis Obispo County is a California State Bar approved MCLE provider. This program qualifies for one (1.0) hour of Elimination of Bias MCLE participatory credit. Please Join Us (remotely)!
Please join the Women Lawyers Association for our first event of 2021
