Manager, Community Engagement
June McIvor joined Invenergy in April 2024 to lead local engagement on the Even Keel Wind offshore wind energy project, pursuing her passion to contribute to the fight against climate change. Invenergy is a U.S., privately-held company that is accelerating cleaner, more reliable, affordable energy with a 20+ year track record of responsibly developing, building, owning and operating wind, solar, and natural gas general projects and energy storage facilities. Invenergy has developed more than 200 projects and 32 gigawatts of generating capacity around the world.
June has been active in the San Luis Obispo County community for over 20 years. As a partner in the preeminent business law firm of Sinsheimer Juhnke McIvor & Stroh for 12 years, she counseled regional businesses in a variety of corporate and transactional capacities. She then joined Tolosa Winery in 2015 as president and CEO, overseeing the comprehensive refresh and elevation of Tolosa. She also was the architect of the integration of Tolosa into a unified corporate structure with its sister wineries in Napa and Spain, serving as the CEO of the parent company.
June is chair of the board of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce and is active with the SLO Climate Coalition and Citizens’ Climate Education. She has served on the boards of the San Luis Obispo Wine Country Association (president), Leadership SLO (board chair), AYSO youth soccer (regional commissioner), San Luis Obispo Symphony (president), French Hospital Foundation (treasurer), and others.
Prior to moving to the Central Coast, June was a pioneer in professional soccer in the U.S., serving as Vice President and Legal Counsel of the 1994 World Cup, the first General Counsel of Major League Soccer, Chief Operating Officer of the 1999 Women’s World Cup, and Managing Director of the championship venue of the 2003 Women’s World Cup. She started her career at the international law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. June holds a bachelor’s degree from Vassar College and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
June lives in San Luis Obispo with her husband, Duane Hall, and their daughter, Kaylie. When not out talking to people about the benefits of offshore wind energy, she can be found running on the beautiful trails of the Central Coast, laughing on the pickle ball court, or enjoying time with friends.
